While me and my team of ninja monkeys where looking for a new product to review suddenly I have found the new product from Antec A short while ago Antec released the world’s first full open air case. Skeleton is mainly made of steel and plastic. It is intended for reviewers, testers or I guess anyone who swaps hardware a lot; being easily able to install or remove any computer components is truly fantastic.

It contains 92millimeter fan the front and 250mm fan with multi colour led with customisation between high, medium, low speed. At the front there is a fire wire port 2 USB ports, external ATA port as well as headphone and microphone jack. Here 2 quarter inch drives can be installed and at the right is up to 2 HDD can be installed The 92 mm fan snaps right at the components tray so this then provides cooling for the components Installing a hard drive only takes one screw attached at the side of the hard drive, so the hard drive really only has to gently slip into its place an optical disk drive can also be installed in the very similar way. Both side panels have ventilation which can be easily removed. In addition 2 extra HDD can be installed on both of the side panels. At the rear of the case there are 8 expansion slots here I think it should not be plastic but steel again because it is to weak and is not looking “good”.

Also a standard ATX supply can be placed at the front on the special power supply cage. Here you can fit many ATX and standard ATX motherboards, and micro ATX. One of the reasons I just love this case is because the tray with components can just simply slide out which gives a lot of room to work on. This tray also fits video cards up to a length of about 11 inches which is just cool is well. At the bottom there are 4 soft rubber feet that prevent from any vibrations and scratches. One of the other amazing about the 250mm fan is that it is extremely quiet at low, medium and high speed! This Case is of course not for everyone but as a reviewer I think its just amazing and I just adore this case especially if you often swap your hardware it is extremely comfortable although it has a tiny problems and some people might have problem with EMF radiation since it is a fully open cover. Overall I believe it is truly a KICKASS product and it also received a certification from RoHS and AQ3 Overall rating Rating 9/10
Cost: $142.00 - $192.00 You can get it in mini version as well as the standard version.

i would like to call it a dust collector

Yeah that is the main reason I'm put off on this case. There is no way to prevent mass dust collection on the hardware :D

looks gay. looks like u cant bring it outside on a rainy day. looks like you'll need an umberella and safety caution tape around it so nothing falls on it. :p

Why would you want to take your PC out in the rain?
How is saftey precaution tape gonna stop anything from falling on it?
